So since I posted don'ts, I've been asked to post do's:
1. Do live each day to the fullest--when you go to bed are you worn out?
2. Do love the people in your life by being 100% honest and showing that affection.
3. Do find people you can talk to, and count on.
4. Do your best to reconcile spiritual issues before you build your life around a particular way of thinking/being.
5. Do be grateful each day for all you have and all that God has given you. Tell him in prayer, even if you have nothing else to say.
6. Do take good care of your health and your body. Being physically fit feels great and will keep wife/partner happier than they might be otherwise.
7. Do take some time to plan for the future in terms of managing risks, saving for fun and retirement, and that sort of thing.
8. Do find hobbies that you can be passionate about. Teaching Sunday School doesn't count. Family history might.
9. Do follow a simple saying: "Bloom where you are planted." You might be stuck somewhere that isn't ideal. Make the most of it.
10. Do accept the fact that most people in the world won't share your views and try to understand them & theirs. Being open minded brings much more to life.
