Half way there. I just took a walk and came out to my 2nd stepdaughter, and gave her a similar but slightly altered for age and attitude version of what I told her sister. I feel better. I was afraid, but it went well.
Kids can handle a lot. Love does that.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're having positive experiences. My experience coming out to my kids was very cathartic, I didn't the luxury of time and as with everything, I would have probably done it all differently but I'm glad I did it when it happened; at least this way we were able to move forward. Good luck with the younger kids.
