Seattle

I love this place. First of all, its not Utah. Second, it has such a different, wonderful beauty and "feel." I walked into Starbucks to get a cookie and hot chocolate (not kidding) and immediately saw a very comfortable gay fellow sitting there chatting with a friend. He was wearing very short green shorts, a pink shirt, and large white sunglasses. I didn't know about short shorts having come back. Well, being almost 40 separates you from certain things. The diversity is sort of stunning as you walk down the streets and through places.

Of course, it helped that the weather is perfect and comfortable. Hotel is great, and I took a sailing "trip" around the bay which was really fun.

I got scoped out head to toe today in the airport by a gay fellow. Nice compliment of sorts. I feel relieved not to be in Provo. No surprise there.

  1. I have been to Seattle. It is a great place. I am jealous that you have this alone time away there. Enjoy it. :)

  2. Hi Joe,

Seattle is such a cool place to be. My brother lives there and every time I go I discover new and great things about it, but I love the diversity. The most courteous/helpful people I've found anywhere are in the Pacific NW. Have fun!
